Bio Remodelling

Bio-remodelling injections for the skin. A ’injectable moisturiser’ anti-ageing treatment to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

What is Bio Remodelling?

Bio Remodelling is a high concentration gel based product. It blends seamlessly into the skin and spreads itself adequately because it is made of a totally natural skin component. The structure of the face is not altered by Bio Remodelling treatments, they simply just give you a more rejuvenated, radiant and ravishing skin.

Bio Remodelling product is not a dermal fillers and is specifically used as a bio regenerating treatment which stimulates the body’s own system to improve elastin; and a tightening effect, counteracting skin laxity and remodelling the face. Whereas conventional Dermal Filler products are aimed at restoring lost volume in specific areas, Bio Remodelling is not designed to plump or add volume.

Injections points for "The Injectables Moisturiser"
Bio Remodelling is designed to repair under the skin in order to remodel the skins structure, treating skin laxity and restoring firmness over a larger area. Overall, clients can usually expect increased firmness, hydration and elasticity giving overall improved quality of skin, with effects lasting around 6 months.

Different between Bio Remodelling and Skin Boosters?

Bio Remodelling has a unique ability to enhance collagen AND elastin formation, whereas most other injectable skin treatments like Skin boosters have been shown to only build collagen. Both collagen and elastin fibres form the structural support for our skin and both of these structures deplete as we age. The exciting benefit of Bio Remodelling is that it addresses both these aspects of ageing in the skin that conventional treatments have not been able to achieve. These benefits lift the skin and improve skin firmness, elasticity and tightness.

It is recommended that for Bio Remodelling, two sessions of Profhilo are required, four weeks apart.

What can be treated with Bio Remodelling injections?

The common areas of the body suitable for treatment include the face, neck, and hands.

Bio Remodelling has been developed with an exclusive injection technique, customisable for each client. In the area chosen to be treated, up to 10 specific injection points can be used. Each point is known as a bioaesthetic point, and identifying these points for injection is known as the bioaesthetic point (BAP) technique. These ten points are in the most anatomically receptive areas, and when used together, allow the treatment to take maximal effect.

How is Bio Remodelling different from Dermal Filler products?

Bio Remodelling has one of the highest concentrations of filler gel on the market. Uniquely, it is stabilised using a thermal process, meaning it does not use any other chemical agents. It’s production process results in a low inflammatory response when injected, and extensive spread-ability, allowing a small amount, strategically injected, to produce the desired result over a larger area.

Bio Remodelling treatment process?

Before Treatment

During the initial consultation at Mapp Injectables Sydney, your Cosmetic Injector will discuss your treatment expectations. After discussion of what you wish to achieve and assessment of your treatment needs, the Cosmetic Injector will advise if Bio Remodelling is suitable for you.
After a treatment plan has been agreed, and only once you are happy to proceed, you will be asked to read, understand and sign a consent form before the treatment can begin.

During Treatment

Bio Remodelling is injected into the skin in small amounts using a very fine needle. This product improves the elasticity and texture of skin, restoring and maintaining the skins hydrobalance. Numbing cream can be used to make the procedure more comfortable.

The treatment is quick, typically taking about 30 minutes. Treatment with Bio Remodelling does not affect facial expression (it differs from our anti-ageing injectables treatment) and the benefits can normally be seen over the following days.

After Treatment

Bio Remodelling products are biodegradable, which means they will be naturally broken down by the body. To ensure an optimal and long-lasting result, a top-up treatment is recommended 6 months after your initial course of treatment.

Downtime following a treatment is minimal, and many clients are able to return straight to work. After your Bio Remodelling treatment some reactions might occur, these include; slight redness, swelling, itching, bruising, pain and tenderness. The reactions are generally mild to moderate and usually disappear shortly after injection. They typically resolve spontaneously within one or two days.

Important thins to remember after your treatment:

- Avoid make up for 12 hours after treatment.

- It is advised to apply a cool compress to the treatment area at regular intervals.
