Bio Re-modelling vs Dermal Filler, What is the difference?

Key differences between Bio Re-modelling & Dermal Filler

This article provides information on what is the difference between the 2 different types of products.

What is Bio Re-modelling?

Bio Re-modelling is an injectable moisturiser when injected into the skin retains moisture through the body, resulting in increased collagen stimulation. Meaning that Bio Re-modelling works wonders for rejuvenating dull skin! Bio Re-modelling is injected through microinjection points across the face and or neck. This improves skin quality and increases elasticity production, increasing plumpness which may have been lost through natural ageing.

Bio Re-modelling contains a high level of clinically concentrated product, which is the highest on the current market. When injected the product thermally bonds, meaning it retains moisture instead of chemically bonding. Therefore, Bio Re-modelling acts as a hydrator instead of a filler, which has incredible anti-aging effects on our skin!

The importance of bio remodelling is when aiming to achieve the sought-after hydrated, plump, and glowing skin is unbeaten! One gram of bio remodelling can hold up to 6 litres of water, Bio Re-modelling gives your skin the exact hydration hit for radiant skin! Bio Re-modelling overtime can stimulate collagen and elastin – these are the two key players for pump, bouncy skin.

Below are the perfect examples of how Bio Re-modelling  can rejuvenate, brighten, and radiate your appearance.

What is Dermal Filler?

In a nutshell, dermal filler resembles a gel-like consistency. When injected into areas of the face filler can modify features such as the chin, lips, and nose. Filler is also used to contour areas of the face. Dermal fillers can also be used to minimise wrinkles.  Dermal Fillers due to its hydrating properties and water retention, it is the more favoured choice.

Which product treats what area?

Bio Re-modelling and dermal fillers also target different areas of the body.

Bio Re-modelling can be injected into the cheeks, neck, hands, knees, stomach and décolletage (the neck and chest area). The treatment will tackle the signs of ageing, dullness and sagging in these areas without altering the structure.

Dermal fillers are commonly used to add volume to the lips and cheeks, reshape or add definition to the nose, chin and jawline, or fill indentations such as the temples and tear troughs (the area underneath the eyes). Fillers can also be used to tackle the tell-tale signs of ageing on the hands.

How does it work?

Bio Re-modelling is injected into pre-determined points to give what has been dubbed a hydrolift effect that boosts hydration and tightens the skin.

Unlike dermal fillers, Bio Re-modelling stimulates collagen and elastin production, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin. Hyaluronic acid, the active agent in Bio Re-modelling, can hold 1,000 times its weight in water, prompting significant moisturising activity in these deeper layers.

This results in a noticeable improvement in the skin tissue, resulting in a significant tightening and lifting effect.

Consistency

Bio Re-modelling is runnier in texture and is of higher concentration than dermal fillers. Filler is a thicker more viscous in nature.

Use

Bio Re-modelling spreads evenly under the skin and immediately refreshes and plumps the skin from within, this stimulates elastin and collagen production. Bio Re-modelling can be administered in the face, neck, décolleté, hands, and knees.

Filler stays where it is placed and its use is for volumising, shaping, lifting, and filling a specific area. Filler can be placed in the lips, nose, cheeks, jaw, chin, temples, tear troughs, and deep-set lines.

Treatment Occurrence

Bio Re-modelling is a course of two treatments with each appointment one month apart, which can then be topped up if desired after completing the initial two treatments.

Filler is dependent on desired result and area treated; this would need to be advised within a qualified cosmetic injector consultation. However, recommended treatment is one every 16-18 months.

Treatment delivery

Bio Re-modelling is delivered in 10 different strategically placed shots. The treatment consists of two sessions, one month apart. Some improvement can be seen from one week after the first injection, but the results take full effect around one month after the second injection as the product needs time to spread and stimulate collagen production. The effects of Bio Re-modelling will last for around six months. As with other non-surgical treatments, this timeline varies from person to person and also depends on which part of the body is being treated.

Bio Re-modelling can take as little as 10 minutes to administer. There is no downtime associated with this treatment, so once your session is over, you are free to leave the clinic and carry on with your day-to-day activities as normal.

Which product is right for me?

If you are seeking to improve the overall appearance of the skin, tackling the unwelcome signs of ageing, dullness and sagging, then Bio Re-modelling  is highly recommended. The injectable is a great way of subtly improving the appearance of the skin without making any obvious structural changes. In short, if you want to look younger, more refreshed and rejuvenated without people knowing that you have had treatment, Bio Re-modelling  is an excellent choice.

Dermal fillers are an excellent way of reshaping particular parts of the face, such as plumping the lips. Bio Re-modelling cannot change the structure of the face, for example changing the appearance of the nasal bridge. If you are looking to add volume or change the appearance of your facial features, then dermal fillers are the only non-surgical option available to you. Dermal fillers can also be used to treat scars including acne scarring or scars acquired through injury or surgery.

Another plus point for dermal fillers is that this particular treatment yield results immediately. So if you are after a quick fix ahead of a wedding, job interview or similar, dermal fillers are definitely the preferred option. If you are not satisfied with the results of your filler, the consultant can administer filler dissolving, a naturally occurring enzyme that dissolves the filler almost instantly. It is then safely reabsorbed into the body, leaving no lasting damage or effect. Alternatively, further dermal filler can be used to ‘tweak’ areas that have already been treated in order to achieve an enhanced result.
